It's nice to look back now and then, though those gas prices have been gone far from that time !!
Believe it or not, but it actually went DOWN a few cents here. $4.47 for the 92 octane at the Shell/chevron near me.
I'm glad filling the tank gets me 2 weeks in the Vibe. :D
That was when we just moved to the DC area and my HI friend (from Kahului School:-) came to visit.

Those were the good 'ol days! Gas prices in the Bay Area have dropped considerably from what they were a month or two ago. Yesterday, it was closer to $4 than $5. Right in time for the election!
wow - i guess we were lucky not to see it near $5!! i hope you can take lovely city transportation where you need to go. of course with your danskos, you can walk miles if need be;-)
